Panamanian Spanish is the Spanish language as spoken in Panama. It is also spoken by people of Panamanian descent in other countries.
It has similarities with other Central American and Caribbean Spanish variants, and due to its history has absorbed a significant portion of its vocabulary from the English language. Panamanian dialect also borrowed words from languages of other ethnic groups, like Italians , Greeks , East Indians including Hindi and Gujarati , and Chinese.
